PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the sharp decline of the output torque of a transmission at the time of speed change without extending the speed changing time so as to reduce a speed change shock in a vehicle driving gear comprising an engine and a motor generator as driving sources. SOLUTION: A vehicle driving gear is provided with an engine 1, a motor generator 4 and an automatic transmission 3 for stepped speed changes which achieves a given step of speed change by engaging friction engaging elements. A control device comprises a speed change judging means, which judges that the speed has been changed, and a torque output commanding means, which, based on the judgment of the finish of the speed change, transmits an assisting torque outputting command to the motor generator 4 so that the output torque of the transmission can be reduced gradually from a given torque. This output of the assisting torque eases the sharp decline of the output torque of the transmission which the disappearance of inertia torque causes when the speed change is finished. |
