PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current consumption suppressing device for IC with which the heat generation of element can be reduced while reducing power consumption and preventing over run without providing any cooling fan. SOLUTION: A timer control part 103 generated a clock as unit time and based on this clock, a counter part 102 counts the address strobe(ADS) bar signal of MPU 101. A wait generating part 104 compares a predetermined set value with the count value of counter part 102 and outputs one-wait and two- wait signals in different delay states. Corresponding to the output signal of wait generating part 104, a sequence circuit 105 delays the cycle of READY bar signal of MPU 101 and reduces the operation frequency of MPU 101. By reducing the operation frequency, heat generation is suppressed. |
