PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high temperature corrosion resistant aluminum wire in which the corrosion of an aluminum conductor and a tension member can be prevented even at 40 deg.C or a higher temperature. SOLUTION: Aluminum or aluminum alloy-made conductor members are strained around tension members 7 so as to form a high temperature corrosion resistant aluminum wire. The tension members 7 are aluminum-coated copper wires 6, and the conductor members are formed of plural aluminum or aluminum alloy wires 2 and plural Al-Mg alloy wires 8 containing more than 0.1 percentage by weight of Mg.
