<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent transfer deviation or pitch unevenness at the time of transfer by setting the width of a transfer material having a maximum size where a toner image is transferred, the width of a driving roller, the width of a driven roller and the width of a transfer belt so as to make a specified relation hold among their values. SOLUTION: The width of the transfer material P having the maximum size where the toner image is transferred is set as (a), and the width of a transfer belt driving roller 11 as (b), the width of the transfer roller as (c), and the width of the transfer belt 12 in an attached state, namely the width of the transfer material 12 in the state where it is laid over the transfer roller 10 and the transfer belt driving roller 11 as (d). Values are set so as to make the relation of a<b<=c<d hold among them. Thus, the meandering of the transfer belt 12 is prevented without providing a special device for preventing the meandering of the transfer belt 12 nor performing special control. Thus, a clear image is obtained on the transfer material P of all sizes usable for an image forming device.</p> |
