VEHICLE USE NETWORK SYSTEM AND ON-VEHICLE OPERATING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add a new on-vehicle electronic device to the network system and to use information resources in common among devices without revising a program of conventional on-vehicle electronic devices by using a distribution operating system to conduct data communication among the on-vehicle electronic devices and distribution processing. SOLUTION: Each of on-vehicle electronic devices 1-4 is provided with a CPU, a RAM, a ROM, a dual port RAM (DPRAM) (11-14) and a distribution operating system (OS) (10-14). The on-vehicle electronic devices 1-4 use the operating systems 10-40 respectively to make data communication among them. The DPRAMs 11-41 have data areas for distribution common use memories respectively so as to provide same data to part of each memory of the on- vehicle electronic devices 1-4. Thus, the information resources are used smoothly in common and revision of a function or addition of new functions is conducted without revising a system program and application programs.
