PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit and receive data as signals without using a special data output terminal or a light emitting part by originating light from an image display part. SOLUTION: Corresponding to the signals of the data to be transmitted from a personal computer(PC) 1, the light for changing the lightness of the data transmission part 9 of the image display part in the display device 6 of the PC 1 is emitted, it is received in the light receiving part of a remote controller 8 and the data signals from the PC 1 are transmitted. That is, in the PC 1, the data of a date, a TV station name, the recording start time and the recording time relating to a TV program desired to be video recorded are stored. Then, the data are transmitted to the wireless remote controller 8 with a timer device and stored in the remote controller 8, and when the program start time comes, recording start signals are sent from the remote controller 8 to a VTR, the data of a TV station or the like are received as is generally known and the TV program is automatically recorded. |
