PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means quickly and accurately measuring the eccentricity of a gear with a fine shaft having support shafts at both ends. SOLUTION: A gear to be measured 9 is held on a pair of tenon receiving pieces 104, 108, and a measuring terminal 111 is brought into contact with the gear 9 rotated by a drive disk 207 at the measuring pressure via a contact pin 113 from a measuring terminal contact arm 305. The tip shape of the measuring terminal 111 has a cylindrical face as shown by a partial enlarged view. The shift quantity of the measuring terminal 111 fitted to a moving ball spider 110 is detected by a magnetic sensor 401 as the movement of a sensor target 114, it is inputted to an eccentricity arithmetic means 400 as the measurement signal (s), it is converted into displacement 404 by an input section 403, and it is displayed on a display panel 5 as eccentricityδvia an arithmetic section 405.
