PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience, to shorten transaction time and to efficiently operate the automatic teller machine(ATM) by controlling the ATM to execute a 2nd transaction in parallel with or continuously to a customer's 1st transaction. SOLUTION: A bankbook handling part 3 in the ATM receives a bankbook. A control part 5 judges whether the account number of the inserted bankbook is the same as the account number of a card used for an already advancing transaction or not. When the account numbers of both the transactions are different from each other, a registering transaction telegram is transmitted/ received to/from a center asynchronously with the other advancing transaction and asynchronously executes a bankbook printing transaction. Then bankbook returning processing is asynchronously executed. When the account numbers of both the transactions are the same, the registering transaction telegram is transmitted/received after the end of the other transmission and the newest registration data including also a completed transaction result are obtained. Then the newest registration data are printed out on the bankbook. |
