<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the system of self-language in a computer system without the need of operating a code such as a password or a foreign prompt by a user by indicating the language selection screen of multi-language, which does not depend on a locale. SOLUTION: The language selection screen 400 of multi-language, which does not depend on the locale, is indicated to the computer user. The language selection screen 400 contains multiple language options 404-414, and the user selects one. The language options 404-414 are shown by characters peculiar to language. The language selection screen 400 realizes independency from the locale by generating the element of the screen from a preserved bit map picture. The computer system is constituted in such a way that it is started by the locale corresponding to language which the user selects at the time of restarting with respect to the constitution of the system locale after the user selects language from the language selection screen 400.</p> |
