<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve anti-offsetting property, low-temp. fixability, shelf stability and pulverizability by incorporating a styrene-olefin-styrene ternary block copolymer having polar groups at terminals into a resin compsn. for a toner. SOLUTION: This resin compsn. for a toner is based on a vinyl copolymer contg. a styrene monomer and a (meth)acrylic ester monomer as constituent units and contains a styrene-olefin-styrene ternary block copolymer having polar groups at terminals. The ternary block copolymer is required to have at least one terminal polar group. It has 5-80wt.% polystyrene content and the number average mol.wt. (expressed in terms of polystyrene) is preferably 1,000-500,000.</p> |
