The invention relates to the field of automotive transport, and in particular to electrical equipment and the light signaling devices of automobiles. Disclosed is an external light signaling device for vehicles, comprising an electrical power source (1); a switch (2) for the turn indicators; lights (7, 8 and 9, 10) for said turn indicators; a selector switch (3) with two positions; a sliding contact (4) connected by means of the turn indicator switch (2) to the power source (1); and static contacts (5 and 6) connected to the turn indicator lights (7, 8 and 9, 10) respectively. The innovation proposed by the invention lies in the front and rear surveillance signal panels (15 and 16) which further comprise the device. Said signal panels contain control units (11, 12 and 13) for producing and broadcasting information, and produce signals in the form of traffic signals, pictograms, single words, and short phrases depicting the maneuvers of the vehicle as well as additional information and warning signals concerning traffic conditions. The panel (15 and 16) is a means of electronic representation of visual information based on a microprocessor (12). The front surveillance panel is located on the main portions of the side-view mirrors and the sun visors on the driver and passenger sides.
