BRAKING FORCE CONTROLLER

A braking force controller which generates a braking force intended by the driver always accurately while an emergency brake is operated. The braking force controller has a deceleration sensing means which senses the deceleration of the vehicle. The pressure of the brake fluid which is supplied to a wheel cylinder during brake assist control is controlled in accordance with the deviation between a target deceleration which is to be generated during the brake assist control and the sensed deceleration.
