PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting diode lamp of an optical path change type excellent in practical use wherein a metal layer used for a mirror surface can cut off both noise and stray light, and surface mounting is easily enabled, by using a constitution wherein a light emitting element is mounted on a lead frame, a light can be effectively led to a mirror surface arranged in the front of the light emitting element, and a mirror surface which changes the optical path of a light outputted from the light emitting element is integrally formed. SOLUTION: After a light emitting element 2 is mounted on lead frames 3a, 3b for current supply, molding is performed by using transparent resin 6. The lead frames 3a, 3b are led out to the direction rectangular to an optical axis which is perpendicular to the light emitting element 2. An end surface on which light outputted from the light emitting element 2 is reflected is a mirror surface 7 and slantingly arranged to the optical axis. A metal layer for reflecting the light outputted from the light emitting element 2 or cutting off noise from the outside is formed on an outer surface except at least a radiating surface 9 containing the above end surface. |
