PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit a transmission part to transmit a signal and to specify a disconnection position in a communication path by applying an alternating signal and electric field light-emitting the light-emitting layer of an electric field light-emitting fiber. SOLUTION: The light-emitting layer 12 between a core electrode 11 and a transparent electrode 13 emits light by an electric field generated between the electrodes 11 and 13. The transmission part 2 applies a prescribed frequency and the alternating signal of prescribed voltage are applied between the electrodes 11 and 13 and the light-emitting layer emits light by the electric field. The part is constituted by connecting an oscillation circuit 21, a frequency-dividing circuit 22, a switch circuit 23 and a boosting circuit 24, and an output terminal 25 is connected to the core electrode 11 of the electric field light-emitting fiber 1. A reception part 3 receives the alternating signal transmitted by the core electrode 11 and controls loads 4-8 corresponding to the reception frequency. The part is constituted by connecting a voltage-dividing circuit 31, a signal identification circuit 32 and an output circuit 33 and an input terminal 34 is connected to the core electrode 11 of the electric field light-emitting fiber 1. A place where the light emission of the electric field light-emitting fiber 1 ceases is specified as the disconnection position. |
