MAGNETOOPTIC RECORDING MEDIUM AND INFORMATION RECORDER /REPRODUCER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record/reproduce a signal such that an information recording medium and an information recorder/reproducer can exhibit the performance effectively by including a TOC region for recording the recording/reproducing conditions through wobbling. SOLUTION: Addresses are recorded with identical waveform on the opposite side walls of grooves 90, 92 and an address mark 95 is formed with wobble on the rear of the address and followed by an actual data region. The address and the address mark 95 are reproduced by means of a laser beam and the address mark 95 is delivered to an address mark synchronization signal generating circuit which delivers a synchronization signal to a system controller. The system controller delivers the address mark synchronization signal to a laser drive circuit and a magnetic head drive circuit so that a signal is recorded in the data region in synchronism therewith thus starting recording of signal to the data region.
