摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the adhesion strength of a conductive core material and a nickel porous body, so as to suppress the pole plate deformation resulting from active material impregnation and the like and the falling-out of he active material from a substrate by successively thinning the diameter of a skeleton, forming the nickel porous body from the joining face of conductive core material and the nickel porous body toward a substrate surface. SOLUTION: When a small amount of P, B, S, In, or As is added to metal nickel, its melting point is significantly decreased from the melting point 1452 deg.C of single metal nickel. When the substrate is sintered at the melting point or more of a nickel alloy formed by adding the same, a bored steel plate 3 surface is melted so that the joining boundary face of the bored steel plate 3 and the nickel porous body 2 is quickly sintered. The melted nickel alloy is absorbed into the pores of the nickel porous body from the core material surface toward the substrate surface by a capillary force. Thereby, when it is cooled after sintering so as to solidify again, it is possible to obtain the substrate having a shape such as the diameter of a nickel porous body skeleton becomes thin successively from the core material surface towards the substrate surface.
