CARTRIDGE DIRECTLY LOADING AND EJECTING METHOD IN LIBRARY DEVICE AND LIBRARY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform simultaneous loadings/ejectings of plural cartridges with a simple and compact constitution by forming a communicated space communicatingly connect the operation space being in the inside of a library device and the external space directly and holding a magazine in a state in which the inserting and taking out side of the cartridges is directed toward the operation space in the communicated space. SOLUTION: Cells 15a housing cartridges are provided in plural stages in the magazine 15 of the library device. The cartridges 10 are made to be held in a prescribed state with respect to a cartridge directly loading/ejecting mechanism (DEE) 12. The DEE 12 is constituted of two parts of a shutter unit 20 and a mechanical unit 30 and the unit 30 is attachably and dettachablyt fitted to the inside of the shutter unit 20. In this state, a communicated space 31 communicateingly connecting the operation space being in the inside of the library device and the outside of the device directly is formed.
