<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress damages to constituting members, such as a collector or active materials so as to separately recover them by recovering the housing of collected batteries to take out the batteries and giving them at least thermal shock by cooling after sorting between positive and negative electrodes. SOLUTION: By opening an electrode housing, used electrodes are taken out and washed, and then these are separated as to positive and negative electrodes. These electrodes are housed in an electrode-housing container 107, exhaust valves 116 and 117 are opened by actuating an exhaust means 108, pressure is reduced through exhaust pipes 112 and 117', and then the exhaust valves 116 and 117 and a container valve 115 are closed. By opening liquid feeding valves 119 and 120, liquid material 106 are introduced from a storage tank 111 to the electrode housing container 107, and these liquid materials 116 are inserted into the small hole part of an electrode 100. Then, the liquid materials 106 are returned to the storage tank 111. The electrode 100, having a small hole part filled with the liquid materials 116, is cooled to a coagulation point or lower to start volume expansion. Thus, an active material layer is made to be peeled off from the collector of the electrode 100.</p> |
