PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency by utilizing a switching element of low dielectric strength and small capacity and by reducing power loss through reduction of a DC voltage to be applied to an inverter apparatus. SOLUTION: An impedance phase angle arg(Z) of a load circuit is set at 0 deg.<=arg(Z)<=40 deg. and a DC voltage VDC of a DC power supply apparatus 1 and a load voltage VL of regular operation of load 6 are set to have the relationship of 1.2VL<=VDC<=2.0VL. Thereby, the efficiency can be improved by reduction an inductance 7 of load circuit and power loss in the switching devices 3, 4.
