PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a developer leak by sticking an upper seal member to a development container freely stretchably so as to cover the upper opening of a developer storage chamber. SOLUTION: The upper seal member 57 whose longitudinal direction coincides with the axial direction of a developing roller 21 is attached with adhesive tape 58 so as not to be in contact with the inside wall of an upper flame 43 but so as to be stuck, in the direction toward the front and back, to the frame 44 around the upper opening of a development chamber 39 and a blade support member 33A and, in the direction toward the right and left (widthwise), to the upper end faces of the side seal member. In the sticking of it, the upper seal member 57 is loosely attached so as to be slack even with the developing roller 27 being in contact with the photoreceptive drum 25 and so as to be stretched loosely to some extent even with the developing roller 27 moved furthest toward the photoreceptive drum 25 due to the torsion of the photoreceptive drum 25 or other reason. Thus, the upper seal member 57 is attached loosely so as not be in contact with the inside wall of the upper flame 43. |
