PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller hearth kiln having small temperature distribution and high heat efficiency. SOLUTION: Heat is generated by burning fuel gas supplied to the inside of a roller hearth kiln contacting combustion catalysis held on the inner surfaces of rollers 2 of the preheating band and the combustion band of a roller hearth kiln. Products W are heated by these rollers 2 directly. Surface combustion burner as an exhaust collecting type alternating combustion burner or an exhaust heat collecting type constant combusting burner can be arranged to the upper space of the rollers 2. |
