<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent offsetting phenomenon even when the turning of a heat roll is suspended by incorporating a carboxyl group-contg. resin having a specified acid value and glycidyl group-contg. acrylic resin having a specified epoxy equiv. SOLUTION: This electrophotographic toner contains a carboxyl group-contg. resin having 15-30mgKOH/g acid value and glycidyl group-contg. acrylic resin having 300-1,000g/eq epoxy equiv. The carboxyl group-contg. resin is, e.g. a styrene-acrylic copolymer or polyester resin. The styrene-acrylic copolymer is synthesized using a carboxyl group-contg. monomer such as acrylic acid, methacrylic acid or maleic acid and other copolymerizable component by suspension polymn., emulsion polymn., bulk polymn. or other method. The polyester resin has terminal carboxylic acid.</p> |
