<p>A histogram generator enables the creation of a histogram of video signals with small-scale circuitry and without using a high speed histogram memory. A histogram of video signals is created by detecting maximum and minimum values in input video signals, calculating the difference between the maximum and minimum values, setting more than one threshold which divides values between the minimum and maximum values based on the difference, and allocating input video signals in accordance with set thresholds.</p> |
