PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain smoothened picture data equivalent to the offset components of original picture data by small arithmetic amounts by smoothing and face- smoothing intermediate picture data for each column. SOLUTION: An optimal member checking device is constituted of an illuminating lamp 1, diffusion plate 2, image pickup device 3, image pickup lens 4, image pickup element 5, picture processor 6, slide table 7, shading plate 8, and optical member 9 to be checked. In the picture processor 6, the total sum of the arbitrary M pieces of luminance values from the leading of original picture data is used as the first intermediate value, and this intermediate value is divided by M so that the luminance value of the leading of smoothed picture data can be calculated. Then, the (N-1)th luminance value of the original picture data is subtracted from the (N-1)th intermediate value used at the time of calculating the (N-1)th luminance value of the smoothed picture data, and the (N+M-1)th luminance value of the original picture data is added so that the Nth intermediate value can be calculated. This intermediate value is divided by M so that the Nth luminance value of the smoothed picture data can be calculated. |
