<p>A structure for fitting joint connectors capable of absorbing misalignment with another opposed joint connector. When a connector housing (14) of a joint connector (12) is abutted against an opening (27) for fitting of a connector housing (26) of a joint connector (25), the joint connector (12) is guided by a guide slope (29) formed around the periphery of the opening (27). Since an engaging pawl (17) of a fitting plate (13) can be shifted in the lateral and vertical directions within an engaging hole (7) of a fitting part (5), the position of the fitting plate (13) fitted into the fitting part (5) is corrected so that the joint connectors (12, 25) can be accurately opposed to each other. Therefore, misalignment of the joint connector (12) with the joint connector (25) can be absorbed simultaneously with the fitting of switch units (22, 24) to a body (1), and each of male terminals (28) can be securely inserted into the corresponding one of female terminals (15).</p> |
