PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a decrease in transfer electric field and fatigue of an image carrier due to lapse of time by emitting, from a light emitting means before the transfer of toner from the image carrier to transfer paper but after development, light in a wavelength range which can substantially be transmitted through a carrier moving layer. SOLUTION: The device is equipped with a color developing unit 52, the image carrier 53, a black developing unit 54, a precurl roller 55, an attracting roller 56, a cleaning member 57 for cleaning a transfer body 51, a discharging mechanism (discharge brush) 58 for the transfer body 51, and a stripping claw 59 for stripping transfer paper from the transfer body 51. Also, an LED element 60, as the light emitting means, in a wavelength range of approximately 600-780nm which has red wavelength band, excepting the light absorption band area of the carrier moving layer of the image carrier 53, is set between the image carrier 53 and the transfer body 51. Further, before the transfer of the toner to the transfer paper from the image carrier 53 but after the development, light in the wavelength area which can substantially be transmitted through the carrier moving layer is emitted from the LED element 60 to the image carrier 53. Thus, the light emitted to the carrier moving layer is securely transmitted through it. |
