PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support sales by introducing proper substitute merchandise to a customer instead of sold-out merchandise. SOLUTION: A menu designation 71, main menu designation 72, menu unit price 73, and item code 75 are stored so as to be made correspond to each other in a menu table 76. A flag 74 is turned into 1 for a sold-out item, and a flag 69 is turned into 1 for a sold-out menu. When an ordered menu is not made coincident with the sold-out menu, the ordered menu is not sold out, and the order menu is accepted. When they are made coincident, the ordered menu is sold out, and the menu which is not sold out among all the menus of the main menu designation to which the ordered menu is belonging is set as a substitute menu. A sales person can introduce the proper substitute menu in the same group to a customer instead of the sold-out menu. |
