PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing method by which image density is not lowered and a stable image is obtained even when printing for many sheets is repeated in the case of applying developer including particulate toner whose volume average particle size is 6-10μm and particulate carrier-whose weight average particle size is 40-100μm to an electrostatic image recording stage. SOLUTION: In this developing method for an electrostatic recorder having the electrostatic recording stage; an electrostatic latent image formed on an image carrier is developed as a toner image by using the developer including the toner whose volume average particle size is 6-10μm and the carrier whose weight average particle size is 40-100μm, the toner image is transferred to a recording medium, and the toner image transferred to the recording medium is fixed to obtain a recorded image. In the method, a difference between the value of the electrified amount of the toner measured by a blow-off method and that measured by an attraction Faraday method is set within 10μC/g. |
