PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium for a label which improves the light- transmittance of a label main body while keeping the picture quality and the adhesion strength of the label main body well and is superior in operability of peeling operation, front/rear distinguishability, etc. SOLUTION: A recording medium 1 for label consists of a label main body 15, which has an ink reception layer 13 on the front side of a light-transmissive base material 10 and has a sticky layer 12 on the rear side, and a base sheet 11 which covers the sticky layer 12 and can be peeled from the label main body 15. The label main body 15 is constituted so as to have <=15% Haze value (cloud value). Preferably, the base sheet 11 consists if a white or color film, and the sticky layer 12 is constituted so as to have <=20μm thickness, and the thickness of the base sheet 11 is smaller than that of the label main body 15. |
