PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the introduction cost of hardware and to reduce installation spaces by providing the number of resources, which is similar to that of terminals, for a center terminal and fixedly allocating the connection relations of the plural terminals to the resources. SOLUTION: The four customer terminals 2-1 to 2-4 can be connected to the center terminal 1 provided with the four multimedia communication equipments 12-1 to 12-4, for example. The connection relations of the customer terminals 2-1 to 2-4 are fixedly allocated to the four multimedia communication equipments 12-1 to 12-4. Namely, the respective customer terminals 2-1 to 2-4 for branch offices A, B, C and D are made to correspond to respective multimedia communication equipments 12-1 to 12-4 of one center terminal 1. The multimedia communication equipments 12-1 to 12-4 deal with picture data and sound data, which are transmitted from the customer terminals 2-1 to 2-4 through a communication line 3. |
