<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To integrate a projecting part and a light receiving part, and effectively receive a reflected light. SOLUTION: A lens body 3 consisting of a synthetic resin material is fitted to the outside of a cylindrical part 2 in the center of a base 1. The lens body 3 has, for example, four condenser lenses 4 formed around it by integrated molding, and photoelectric converting elements 5 are arranged in each focus position of the condenser lenses 4. A projecting light emitting element is arranged within the cylindrical part 2 in the center so as to emit parallel beams through a projecting lens 6. A projecting light formed of the frequency- modulated parallel beams from the light emitting element is projected to an object, and the luminous flux irregularly reflected by the surface of the object is efficiently converged by the condenser lenses 4 having large converging area around the lens body 3 and imaged on the photoelectric converting elements 5, respectively, and the outputs of the photoelectric converting elements 5 are composed, whereby the presence of the object can be confirmed.</p> |
