<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the quick detection of an intruder and wide area monitoring and to easily identify the intruder by setting up a monitoring area by two- dimensionally scanning light from an optical range finder, and at the time of detecting an intruder in the area, outputting distance data or the like up to the intruder, turning a revoluting camera part, and displaying the picture data of the intruder on a monitor. SOLUTION: A laser range finder 2 in a sensor part 1 radiates laser light and calculates a distance up to an intruder from time required up to the detection of a beam reflected by an object. A scanner 3 uniformly changes the transmitting/receiving light angle of the laser light from the range finder 2 and outputs a current scanning angle. When the sensor part 1 detects the intruder, the revoluting camera part 4 collimates an ITV camera 6 to the intruder, executes automatic tracking by scanning and outputs its picture. A control part 7 generates a control signal to track the intruder based on the distance data or the like outputted from the sensor part 1 and outputs the control signal to the camera part 4.</p> |
