<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the telephone set provided with an earpiece section by preventing especially the earpiece section from being moved from an ear during speech to reduce leakage of a voice of an opposite party and deterioration in sound quality during speech thereby keeping optimum voice volume and voice quality during speech in the case of the generic telephone set including a cellular telephone set and a portable telephone set or the like. SOLUTION: The telephone set is provided with an earpiece section 11 which has a speaker section 12 that sounds a voice of a speech opposite party in the inside and has sound holes 2, 2,... to sound the voice form the speaker section 12 externally to a front side 11a and with a telephone set main body 13 that contains the earpiece section 11 in an electrically connected state.
