<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the service life of battery by reducing power consumption at respective devices inside a device while keeping the convenience at the time of power-on as much as possible by performing data preserving processing at the time of power-off while considering power consumption and state recovery at the time of power-on. SOLUTION: At the time of power-off request, a CPU 11 determines an appliable bottom power save level from the remaining capacity of battery and selects a level to be really applied from this level and the level of user designation set by a power save level selecting part 242. The CPU 11 performs saving processing corresponding to the selected level and saves the operating state of application, each I/O status and under-editing file and under-editing page pointers in a flash memory at a level L2 or saves the under-editing file and under-editing page pointers in the flash memory 22 at a level L6, for example, and when a power-on request is generated, based on that saved information, a state just before power-on or closer state is recovered.</p> |
