<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for processing print data with which processing is enabled in a short time and processing efficiency is improved. SOLUTION: A data format (page description data, intermediate data and raster data) is predetermined for synthesizing respective pages from 1st page to 5th page. Then, the respective pages are transformed to the data format to synthesize them by an interpreter 23 and a lender 24. In this case, transforming processing is not performed concerning the page for which transformation is unnecessitated. After transforming processing, 1st synthesization, 2nd synthesization and 3rd synthesization are respectively performed for the pages expressed in the page description data, intermediate data and raster data. Synthesizing processing and transforming processing can be distributedly performed, and processing is enabled in a short time without increasing a data amount in every processing.</p> |
