<p>A section system having a first section (1, 41), a second section (2, 42) and connecting members (3; 43; 83). The first and the second section (2, 42) each has a projecting flange which carries a first and second engagement surface respectively and which overlaps when the sections are intercoupled. In a retracted condition, the connecting members (3; 43; 83) allow the projecting flanges to be brought into the mutually overlapping configuration. In a condition where they project transversely to the projecting flanges relative to the retracted condition, the connecting members (3; 43; 83) each engages the engagement surfaces. The sections can readily be connected and detached again and, in coupled condition, constitute a strong and rigid assembly with little risk of rattling or leaking, without the sections having to be manufactured within particularly accurate tolerances. Moreover, the connecting members (3; 43; 83) can be mounted so as to be concealed.</p> |
