The quantum well structure has two laser quantum wells (L1,L2) functioning intra-band, and are formed with semiconductor material stacks and separated by a transfer network (RZ). The transfer network allows electron transfer under an electric field from a low level band ( conduction or valence) of one quantum well towards the high level band of the second quantum well. |
