Process for producing a connecting rod

The method involves applying a bearing layer by thermal injection of bearing materials directly onto the connecting rod eye. The bearing material may be applied by plasma injection. The bearing material may be a metal alloy, and me be aluminium bronze. The connecting rod eye is notched before applying of bearing materials, and may be opened by breaking after application of the bearing materials.
