PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparation of a non-contact data carrier wherein a resin-sealed non-contact data carrier can be thinned and manufacturing can be facilitated and yield of manufacturing can be improved. SOLUTION: An inner part 4 is set between the first base material 5 consisting of a copolymer polyester resin and a resin layer 6 of the second base material 7 on one face of which the resin layer 6 is formed and these are pressed under a specified heating condition by means of a hot press machine to melt and soften respectively the copolymer polyester resin base material 5 and the resin layer 6 and to integrate thereby the inner part 4 with them and a non-contact data carrier prepd. by surrounding the inner part 4 with an exterior resin 8 is molded thereby.
