<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and rapidly assemble a rotary universal joint for pipe capable of rotating a water spray nozzle and a hose around the axis. SOLUTION: A joint is of structure to joint both joint in which a packing 9 is provided on a male joint 1 having a tip nozzle part 7 larger in diameter than a base end cylindrical part 6, and the male joint is inserted in a female joint 21, and the female joint 21 comprises a body 22 having a recessed part 30 on its inner circumferential surface and a ring-shaped locking member 41. The locking member 41 is provided with a locking piece 44 bent inwardly, and contracted and inserted in the body 22, and its projected part 43 is attached to the recessed part 30 of the body 22. When the locking member 41 is set, the minimum inner radius formed by the locking piece 44 is smaller than the outside diameter D2 of the tip nozzle part 7 of the male joint 1. Only by pressing the male joint 1, the tip nozzle part 7 expands the locking piece 44, contracts its at the outer circumferential surface side of the base end cylindrical part 6, and locked to a rear end face 11 of the tip nozzle part 7 in a detachment- preventive manner.</p> |
