PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a breakage, detachment or the like due to a shock, and make a fabrication and assembly work easy by inserting and fixing a decorative seal material to a recess at the rear end of the threaded hole of a nut body, and covering and protecting the upper surface of the seal material with a film layer such as a transparent material. SOLUTION: A decorative nut 1 has a decorative seal material 2 inserted in and fixed to a nut body 1c having a recess 1b at the rear end of a threaded hole 1a, and the upper surface of the decorative seal material 2 is covered and protected with a film layer 3 made of a transparent or translucent material. Also, the nut body 1c is formed out of rod type metallic material cut to the prescribed size and molded to have a hexagonal columnar external surface. Then, a chamfered decoration part, a threaded hole or the like is formed by machining, and the annular recess 1b is formed at the rear end of the threaded hole. In addition the nut body 1c is plated, with a thin-walled surrounding wall 1b left around the recess 1b. Also, the decorative seal material 2 has the lower surface and/or the upper surface thereof preliminarily coated with an adhesive and in this state, inserted in and fixed to the recess 1b. According to this construction, the plating or the coat of the nut body 1 and the decorative seal material 1 are protected.
