SOLUTION: This control device has a running condition sensing means for sensing a running condition of a car, a basic target slip rotational speed setting means 91 which sets a basic target slip rotational speedΔNK based on a running condition, an actual slip rotational speed calculation means 92 which calculates an actual slip rotational speedΔN, a decreasing amount setting means 93 for setting a decreasing amountδ, and a target slip rotational speed setting means 94 which sets a target slip rotational speedΔNM based on the actual slip rotational speedΔN and the decreasing amountδ. A lock-up clutch device 24 is engaged or disengaged based on the target slip rotational speedΔNM. The decreasing amount setting means 93 sets the decreasing amountδbased on the basic target slip rotational speedΔNK and the target slip rotational speedΔNM. The actual slip rotational speedΔN gradually approaches the basic target slip rotational speedΔNK.
