PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to mold a thin section with ceramic-like properties by using as the constituents a polybutylene terephthalate resin, a polyethylene terephthalate resin, an aromatic polycarbonate resin, a stabilizer, an impact modifier, an inorganic filler and a reinforcing filler comprising fibrous glass. SOLUTION: The polyesters used are derived from a 2-10C aliphatic or alicyclic diol or a mixture thereof and at least one aromatic dicarboxylic acid. This molding composition contains 0-30wt.% polybutylene terephthalate resin (a), 0-30wt.% polyethylene terephthalate resin (b) [the total of components (a) and (b) being at least 9.1wt.% of the total composition], 10-30wt.% aromatic polycarbonate resin (c) [the total of components (a) and (b) being less than the amount of component (c), and the amount of component (c) being at most twice the total of components (a) and (b)], a stabilizer (d) in an effective amount, 0-15wt.% impact modifier (e) comprising a styrene rubber, 29.99-79.99wt.% inorganic filler (f), and 5-30wt.% reinforcing filler (g). |
