PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet recorder for maintaining stable injection force by efficiently removing a deposit on a heating resistor in a wide range. SOLUTION: In the case of removing a deposit on a heating resistor 2 at the time of maintaining, a controller 5 applies a recovery pulse to the resistor 2 to a driving circuit 3 while sucking ink to an ink discharge unit 4. The unit 4 sucks the ink in a head 1 while changing a suction pressure, thereby changing a flow rate of an ink flow in a channel of the head 1. The resistor 2 is driven to repeatedly generate and eliminate foam while the flow rate of the ink flow is changing. The deposit on the resistor 2 is removed by a force in the case of eliminating the foam. Since a point of eliminating the foam is moved according to change of the flow rate of the ink flow, the deposit on the resistor 2 in a wide range can be removed. |
