PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extruder which prevents a pulse phenomenon in it without changing existing equipment largely and can increase its throughput. SOLUTION: In an extruder having a screw shaft 10 in which spiral threads 20 of flights are formed in the axial direction, at least one notch 22 per one flight is formed in 20-70 % of all the flights of spiral threads 20, and the helical angle of the threads is made smaller than an ordinary angle and the feed is made slower.
