<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to lower deformation resistance and to prevent permanent deformation when balls are trampled by cart wheels, etc., by implanting plural ball stopper plates in one row at a dull angle or acute angle on a base plate of a ball stopping device which prohibits the rolling of the golf balls on a sloping road, etc., while maintaining small spacings. SOLUTION: This ball stopping device formed by using vulcanized material, etc., of natural rubber is constituted by implanting base edges 2a of the ball stopper plates 2 at the dull angle on the one side part of the base plate 2 and longitudinally dividing the part above these base edges 2a to plural unit plate pieces 3, 3. The ball stopper plates 2 are bored with through-holes 13 parallel with the base plate 1 on the mounting side. The height of the ball stopper plates 2 is set at such a height at which the ordinary rolling balls do not jump over the plates. The ball stopper plates are formed to have a gradient in the direction where the plates approach the base plate 1. The golf balls 4 rolling from an arrow 5 direction are surely blocked by the ball stopper plates 2 accordingly. The smooth passage of the cart wheels is ensured by the deformation of the plates like an arrow 8 or arrow 7.</p> |
