<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purifying device that is superior in purification efficiency and attractiveness without generating mesh clogging, can exactly grasp the timing to exchange a purifying material and can be produced at a low cost, by circulating purifying material particles in a purifying vessel. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a purifying vessel 5, of which one part is transparent at least, which is provided with a water sucking port 15 for taking in fish tank water and a water discharging port 14 for discharging purified water and the space in this purifying vessel 5 is filled with purifying material particles 4 composed of porous cellulose inductors having true specific weight from 0.7 to 1.3. Then, the purifying vessel 5 is additionally provided with a water current applying means 3 for applying a water current from the water sucking port 15 toward the water discharging port 14 and with the water current applied by this water current applying means 3, the purifying material particles 4 flow in the purifying vessel 5. In this case, it is preferable that the purifying material particle 4 changes a color on its surface with the passage of time in use.</p> |
