<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover fine particles such as mist without stopping the operation of an electrostatic precipitator. SOLUTION: Dust collecting electrodes 8 are installed in a case 2 into which air containing fine particles such as mist is introduced, and in the dust collecting electrodes 8, discharge electrodes 14 for charging the mist with electricity are installed. A storing part 16 for storing the mist recovered by the dust collecting electrodes 8 is installed, and is provided with a discharge port 16a. To the discharge port 16a, an air passing route 23 for passing air is connected. In this constitution, when voltage is applied to the dust collecting electrodes 8 and the discharge electrodes 14, the mist is stuck to the dust collecting electrodes 8 by a DC electric field thereof. When the mist is stuck by a prescribed quantity, it is accumulated as liquid in the storing part 16. This liquid is sucked out by venturi effect of an air flow passing through the air passing route 23.</p> |
