METHOD FOR MARKING USING LASER BEAM AND METHOD FOR MARKING IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION ON GLASS SUBSTRATE IN MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF DISPLAY PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relax the limitation based on the thickness and material of an object to be marked and to execute fine marking using a laser beam without flawing the surface. SOLUTION: The transfer plate 13, coating a color film on one side surface of the substrate 7 having a transparent nature to the laser beam 14, is provided. The transfer plate 13 to be provided is superposed on the desired position of the surface being the object to be marked so that the color film faces. The color film is heated with the laser beam 14 transmitting the substrate 7 while irradiating the superposed transfer plate 13 from the wear with the laser beam 14 in correspondence to the desired marking shape, whereby the color film on the transfer plate 14 is transferred on the surface being the object to be marked with the desired marking shape. And the transfer plate 14 is removed from the surface being the object to be marked.
