<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out connection between high density polyethylene pipe bodies and a fitting and their arrangement in a required from by providing the fitting, which is provided with a heating wire and fitted to the respective tip parts of the high density polyethylene pipe bodies so as to be welded to them. SOLUTION: A fitting 15, which connects high density polyethylene pipe bodies 12, 22 together, is provided with a dimension allowing it to be fitted to the high density polyethylene pipe bodies 12, 22 respectively. When electric power is supplied to a heating wire which is wound and buried in the fitting 15, the inside face of the fitting 15 and the outside faces of the high density polyethylene pipe bodies 12, 22 are fused so as to be connected together. Subsequently, heat insulating members 16, 26 cover the vicinity of the fitting 15 from the upper and lower sides. A tubular cover 17 covers circumferences of the heat insulating members 16, 26. Heat contracting tubes 18, 28 seal the connecting parts between the high density polyethylene pipe bodies 12, 22 and the tubular cover 17.</p> |
